To record a song TCC represents on an audiovisual product and distribute copies such as DVD or VHS, you should request a Synchronization License.
 
Contact our office or submit a request in letter form to obtain permission for use on television, in movies, at film festivals, etc.
 
Translations: If you wish to use a song in a language other than English, you must submit your translation and the transliteration (literal translation back into English) for approval. All rights to any translation will be owned by the copyright owner(s) of the song.
 
     
Medleys: If you wish to record a medley of songs, you must request permission for each individual song. Contact each publisher for permission.
