To make an audio or video recording using a sound recording (master) TCC represents, you must request a Master License. This may include the use of an accompaniment trax or an artist recording and is separate from the ownership of the song on the recording (the underlying composition).

Please note when requesting a Master License, you must also request and receive permission to use the underlying composition. Such permission must be obtained from the copyright owner(s) of the composition.

Notice: The use of any master may be denied. Permission should be secured prior to using a master.
